Situated within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, the Hotel Viticcio stands on a picturesque promontory with the beach below just 20m away. Most of the rooms afford views of the tranquil waters of the gulf of Viticcio, ideal for water sports enthusiasts. Surrounded by nature and crystal-clear waters, a small beach with none of the usual hustle and bustle: The hotel Viticcio is ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday in contact with nature.
The nearby beach of pebbles and rocks is easily reached by means of a 20m stairway. Sun loungers and beach umbrellas are available, free of charge, to guests (subject to availability) from mid June through to the beginning of September. The beach umbrellas, available at reception (E5 deposit), may be kept for the duration of the stay and used on other beaches.
Hotel Facilities
The hotel reception area, lounge/bar and restaurant are all situated in the main hotel building, as is the marvellous panoramic terrace, where evening meal is served, which affords wonderful views of the bay. The hotel is especially proud of its fine cuisine: fresh produce - fruit, vegetables, meat and fish – are all bought fresh on a daily basis. The garden in front of the bar is reserved as a play area for children. The hotel garden, equipped with sun loungers, is an ideal place to relax – with breathtaking views of the sea below.
Breakfast is a self-service buffet offering a wide selection, both sweet and savoury, as well as tea, coffee, milk, fresh juices and energy drinks.
At lunch we offer a menu “a la carte” with pasta and rice dishes as well as a choice of salads and cold fish or meat plates (only in high season-please view our price list for exact dates). Water and house wine are included in our price.
At Dinner we serve dinner on our panoramic terrace with sea view and romantic sun-sets. Our friendly and helpful waiters will let you choose in the morning from 3 first courses and 3 main courses based on fish, meat or vegetables. Of course, we also serve side dishes and a dessert. Water and house wine are included in our price.
For your children we have a special children menu (water included). On request we offer gluten-free meals!
The hotel has a small private car park, which is free of charge on a first come first serve basis. Further parking spaces available in front of the hotel. As an extra service, cars, mopeds, scuba diving sessions and various excursions (cultural, trekking, mountain biking and boat trips) can be booked through the reception desk.
The Rooms
A total of 32 rooms all with bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, minibar, telephone and ceiling fan. There are various room-types: Type A Super – a junior suite with balcony and either sea- or garden-view, possibility of 3rd and 4th beds; Type A – room with balcony and either sea- or garden-view, possibility of 3rd bed; Type B – standard double rooms with sea-view, some with balcony; Type C – standard double room (no sea-view or balcony). Also available in this category – 1 triple room and 2 single rooms (no supplement).
Small and medium-sized animals admitted on request. Supplement E5 per day.
