Hotel and Residence Crystal
The Hotel Residence Crystal is situated just outside the Medician walls of the old town of Portoferraio, just a stone’s throw from the port, the town centre and the wonderful beach of Le Ghiaie. It is open all year round.

Le Ghiaie Beach
This picturesque beach with its characteristic white pebbles is right opposite the hotel, just across the other side of the public gardens. There are sunloungers and beach umbrellas for hire from mid-June through to mid-September for Residence guests (free of charge for Hotel guests).

Hotel Facilities
The hotel foyer, furnished in the ‘Old Marine’ style, provides an informal, welcoming atmosphere, as do the reading lounge, bar, TV room, billiard room and breakfast room. The buffet breakfast offers the guest a selection of hot drinks, juices, fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and hams, cakes and Elban specialities. The hotel restaurant is right on the beach, 25m from the water’s edge, in a quiet, pedestrianised area, just a few metres walk through the public gardens that surround it. Private parking near the hotel (50 metres) (E.8,00 per day/car).

The rooms and apartments
The 16 hotel rooms all have modern furnishings and all the amenities one would expect of a 4-star hotel. Most have a spacious terrace (Balcony room). Each room is soundproofed and has satellite TV, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, telephone and radio. The residence, on the other hand, offers comfortable apartment accommodation for those seeking freedom and relaxation. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, hairdryer, telephone, safety deposit box, satellite TV, air-conditioning, some have terrace with table and chairs.

BEDROOMED APARTMENT (BILO): Sleeps 4/5. Living room with kitchenette and a double sofa bed. Separate double bedroom with extra single bed. Shower room. Small animals are admitted, on request, at no extra charge.
