The Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro Due is in the residential area of Marciana Marina, along the road that leads to the charming hilltop villages of Poggio and Marciana. The Local Beaches.
The seafront of Marciana Marina is just a short walk away, with its pebble and shingle beach right in the centre as well as a smaller sandy stretch of shore towards the port. The most popular beach, ‘La Fenicia’, lies just behind the Saracen or Medician tower that was built by the Pisans in the 12th C to protect the port, and which has become the symbol of this charming town. Those willing to take a short walk on foot, westwards out of the town, can enjoy the enchanting coves of Cala and Caletta. Furthermore, along the road heading eastward towards Procchio, there are several footpaths leading down to a number of charming bays, both sandy and pebbly.
