The brilliant green of the Mediterranean scrub and the crystal blue waters frame this hotel, which bears the same name as the headland on which it stands, positioned between Golfo Stella and Golfo della Lacona. This breathtaking stretch of coast boasts a myriad of small beaches as well as steep cliff faces that plunge down into the sea below. The hotel is just a 500m drive uphill from the main road and offers a relaxing holiday in one of the most perfect spots on the island thanks to its fantastic views, its beautiful and tranquil surroundings coupled with the welcoming atmosphere and pleasant staff. However, its central position also means that in a matter of minutes one can reach the nearby towns of Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro.

The beach. The beach next to the hotel, Margidore, a mixture of sand and small pebbles, is well equipped with sun loungers and beach umbrellas for rent. Windsurfs and small boats are available for hire as well as boat moorings. It can be reached by a footpath (approx 350m) leading directly from the hotel car park to the beach. The large sandy beach of Lacona is just a short drive away. More than a kilometre of golden sand with every amenity – loungers and umbrellas for rent, beach bars, restaurants, dinghy and boat hire (both motor and sailing boats), windsurfs and moorings. 

Hotel amenities. Foyer and reception desk; private car parks, both adjacent to and below the hotel (subject to availability); swimming pool with hydro-massage, poolside sunbathing area and bar. The terrace restaurant, where both the buffet breakfast and dinner with water service are taken, affords breathtaking views. It is just a short stroll from both the main building and the hotel rooms, along a short path, which opens up into the surrounding gardens and with a couple of steps. The hotel restaurant offers an “a la carte” menu with both local and national traditional dishes. Mineral water and house wine are included in the price. Those who prefer to buy from our wine list will be impressed at the fine selection of local wines chosen from only the best vineyards. There is also a special children’s menu with water and soft drinks included in the price. The following services are also available on request but are not free of charge: baby-sitting service, booking of excursions and ferries, car and scooter hire.

Small animals are admitted on request, free of charge.

The rooms. All with air conditioning, minibar, safe, satellite TV, telephone, en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, shower or bathtub.
The rooms with SEA VIEW are spacious twins, doubles or triples situated on each of the three floors of the hotel all with sea view balcony complete with table and chairs. The rooms on the SEA SIDE of the hotel are doubles/triples, even 4-bedded, without balcony. Those situated along the path leading to the restaurant are particularly suitable for families and groups, with one or two communicating rooms, en-suite bathroom, and in some cases, small living area with mezzanine 2-bedded sleeping area. All have French windows and private outdoor area with table and chairs.
